Applicants must answer a few security-related questions and specify if they need a single or multi-entry visa. To successfully submit the application the traveler needs to make a payment using a credit or debit card, and provide a recent passport-size photo, and a scan of their passport.

What happens if my Egypt e-Visa expires while in the country?

If you check your online Egypt visa and find it has expired when you are in Egypt, you will either need to pay a fine in order to leave the country or seek to renew your Egypt e-Visa.

The fee for overstaying an Egyptian visa varies dramatically depending on the number of days a visitor has overstayed. An overstaying visitor is not allowed to leave the country until the fine is settled.

To avoid paying the fine visitors can renew their visa by going to the Mugamma Building, Cairo. The office is open from 8:00 to 15:30 and it is advisable to go there as early as possible as the process can be long.
